Lavinia Petrache is a self-taught animator living in Zürich, Switzerland.

She most recently finished her first animated short film, Fracti.

In her own words, since writing in third person is awkward: I’m currently working on bridging my previous background, in tech & computer science, with my more recent love for animation art. Right now I’m making an interactive art installation that is causing 100 programming bugs per day. Can’t wait to share it with the world soon.

Every Tuesday I post a poetic small animation on Instagram, where I was lucky enough to find an audience.
